Pocono Garden Club’s annual Flower Show and Plant Sale, themed “Lights on Broadway,” features floral designs by members, horticultural specimens, houseplants and an extensive sale of Pocono-grown plants. Speakers will be: 11 am, Pamela Hubbard on “A Native Pollinator Garden”; 12 pm, Sharon Carey on “Houseplant Q&A”; and, 1 pm, Jacki Lash Idler on “Container Herb Gardening.” Auction, Tricky Tray, Bake Sale, Garden Marketplace and Door Prize also featured. Last year the show and sale benefited the Garden of Giving, youth camperships to Quiet Valley and Kettle Creek Environmental Center, a $1,000 scholarship to an MCTI student, and restarted a student garden at Hamilton Elementary.
